I have decided to come out…..I now identify as a pensioner.

I started work at 16 so have spent the past 35 years in a high speed, high pressure environment and quite honestly I’m exhausted. I have been feeling out of synch for quite a while now, suspecting work pressures have been taking their toll on my physical wellbeing and mental health.

After a lot of soul searching and talking to many people it suddenly became clear, the problem all along was that I was inside a body but realised that I was in the wrong age group. Since I’ve recognised this and now identify as a pensioner I have made the first important step to my individual happiness and quality of life.

All I want now is for the government to issue me a passport with a new birthday stating 20 years earlier than my current one. With a new passport I can then access my private pensions; I can also claim my weekly old age pension, my free bus pass, my winter fuel allowance and free TV licence. These are all benefits and entitlements I most closely feel akin to and it will then help my wellbeing still further because these privileges then allow me to spend three months each winter in southern Spain with the group I feel most akin to.

My next step in this difficult journey is to explain this to a supportive lawyer, preferably via crowdfunding because I will need donations from those who have compassion for minority groups and empathy for my journey. Based on previous rulings about ‘identify’ then I am surely entitled to my new passport because my case is based on exactly the same logic, rationale and justification as transgender women in sport. So on the same basis of argument consistent rulings would suggest I will be successful….otherwise its discrimination against me which must surely be infringing somewhere on my human rights as the trans movement claims.

So how many thought I was actually being serious?….sadly I reckon it was pretty high figure particularly amongst the under 35 generation. An age group who are seemingly unable to identify common sense, too many have this kind of mentality and sense of ‘entitlement’ that prevents them from seeing the utterly ridiculous!!

There is something seriously wrong when we have gotten to this situation and very close stage of obliterating female sport forever because some view it as ok for transgender women or even men who simply ‘identify’ as women to be eligible to compete as women in what is a straight forward physical contest. The scenario is akin to the common cuckoo taking over a sparrows nest and throwing out all the baby sparrow chicks.

The IOC have shown utter contempt for women by allowing this situation without waiting for research and I suspect the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be remembered for giving Gold medals to trans athletes in female events.
